Fashion for two! 5 Helpful tips in styling your man...

Once upon a time there was a 19 year old boy from West Texas who fell in love with a city girl from Dallas! This boy wore wranglers and owned his high waisted jeans like no one else! His starched shirts could stand up on their own and there wasn't a belt buckle he didn't like. I love this about my college sweetheart and we laugh often about his fashion choices back then. My handsome husband has come a long way with his wardrobe, but hear me when I say it was not an overnight transformation.

Just to fill you in, the man behind the camera with StelloStyle is my other half! We are having an adventure navigating our way through this blogging world together! At any moment he can end up in a picture with me that we post, he is indeed my very own Instagram husband!

Over the years I have been able to slowly replace the old and start with some new. If I threw out his entire closet back then he would have had a heart attack and said ..."NO WAY!" My purpose wasn't to change the man but to give him alternative ideas as we grew together as a couple that were new to him. That to say I have a few tips to share if dressing your man can be a challenge or you feel like your love is stuck in a frumpy man rut.

1. No more relaxed denim! That only makes him look sloppy and bigger. What he needs is a dark straight leg denim jean to wear out to dinner and on your date nights.

2. V-neck shirts are flattering! I love to grab Case about 4 v-neck tees a year in solid colors for him to throw on with jeans to run around in. Now hear me, not low cut v-neck shirts (I have a no chest hair shirt rule!) Think simple high v-neck.

3. Make sure his clothes fit his body now and not his high school body!  When his clothes fit well his confidence will increase!

4. You can never go wrong with a denim shirt...EVER. This is so easy for any man of any age to wear!

5. NO PLEATS... Period. The time of the pleated pant or jeans with creases has come to a close. Please do your pumpkin a favor and get him a pair of flat front pants without cuffs! This is a life changing move ladies!

All this to say, we have places to go and people to see, and most of the time that involves our men too. Why not invest a little TLC into them as well? Make sure and enjoy this fun transformation, it will make for some great memories of your own!

Keep loving what you wear!
