Hats for FALL…. Hats for ALL

Texas has some insane and crazy weather, but lately it has been on another level! We have had more rain then I remember in a long time, and it was in the high 80’s last week-now it is currently 46 degrees! It can be hard to have good hair days with all the rain and yuck, so I love to have a few go to hats handy on the days when I know my hair is not going to look it’s best.

Hats for FALL...Hats for ALL

So many hat styles can be tricky to wear, so I want to share with you three of my easiest hats to pull off without feeling like you are trying too hard! - Hats for FALL…Hats for ALL!

Brixston Fedora

I love Brixton hats because they come sized from small to large! I find that I can’t wear ‘one size fits all’ hats very well, and that I have a truer fit with brands that have size options. There is nothing more classic and chic in the hat world than a great fedora. I love my black option - it works back with just about anything I need it to and it I can hide my hair when it starts to frizz! I don’t put my hats in the casual category, I simply wear them when I feel like it and the hat becomes an extension of my personality. Hats are great like that, they add a level of completion to an outfit when you know you need just a bit more. Whether I have on heels or sneakers I still can snag a hat!

Brixton Fiddler Hat

Women's Fiddler Hat

I am such a fan of this hat style. I did have a huge thing for the musical “Newsies” when it first came out… I was in Jr. High! lol Maybe that is reason I feel so drawn to this hat, its like going home. I have had a hard time convincing my daughter I am cool with it, but Case gets it and he loves it- so take that my almost 13 year old daughter! Seriously though, it is a ton of fun to wear with my hair down or pull back to the side, and I love how light weight it is on. I always forget I am wearing a hat! Plus it is tweed! Who doesn't love a great winter tweed? - perfect for Fall!

Treasure and Bond Wool Panama Hat

Brown and gray tones are perfect neutral colors if you are concerned at all about wearing black against your hair color or skin tone. This particular hat is a steal for the price and keeps it shape really well. I tend to travel with my panama hats, and if I am flying - I make sure and set it on top of my tote bag, under the seat. No problems at all! This is another classic style that will be around for ages to come! Throw on a cozy sweater with some jeans and a lace up sneaker and you are done!

I know that hats are not everyone’s ‘go to’ look in sketchy weather, but I want to encourage you to try something new! Who knows, you may end up nailing your best look yet! Yes, I am a huge hat fan, and I am not ashamed to wear them several days a week! I love hats for so many reasons. They keep my hair looking fresh, hats add an element of trend to any look, and they honestly keep me warmer in the winter! Now, let me know what you think - go for a hat day!
