Fall Closet Update with Walmart

Getting back into a rhythm and schedule is the best time for us to clean out the closets and see how many things work and how many things are too small or tired looking! Each member of my little family functions best when we have closets that are organized! I jumped into everyone’s wardrobes this last week to see what they were lacking for the school year as we head into fall…and we teamed up with Walmart once again for our family fashion needs!

For Dax - he needed a new light weight jacket of some kind. He has a heavy coat, but nothing as the fall season hits that would help when it gets cooler outside. I love his green army jacket we found online at Walmart! It will pair back perfectly with his tees and jeans on the days he is not wearing a school uniform. He also always needs pants. He’s 10 years old and I am in a constant battle to make sure we don’t have the too short pant look, but I also don’t want to spend $50+ on pants every 3 months as he grows. I grabbed him a new pair of light gray motto joggers and this front pocket tee that are great for weekends, church, family dinners, etc… They are clean, comfortable, affordable and a great find because he loves them. I have learned never to under estimate what I will find online at Walmart because they now carry premium brands at a great price point that I am so glad I have discovered!

For Tanner - picture day at school is an important day for her. Having a fresh outfit she feels confident in and that she knows fits ahead of time is a win in our house! It not only reduces the amount of stress in our home on the days leading up to the event, but she also loves feeling prepared and excited about getting to wear something fresh and new. Tanner is a collector of cute tops, much like myself. She appreciates an affordable piece that works back with other items in her closet. She look so fabulous in the pink lace dress with the ruffled shoulders, and I couldn’t get over the price! Thank you Walmart for letting my 13 year old feel fancy in the cutest dress that didn’t cost me near what a trip to the mall would. We had so much fun shopping online together too. Tanner is not a fan of crowds and would almost always rather “order from home”, so it’s easy to hop on walmart.com and find what she needs. She always loves to be part of anything I shop for, and I find that when she plays a bigger part of the process she appreciates and wears the items more that way!

My online Walmart shopping adventure definitely became a family affair when Case decide to jump in on the action and snag some items for himself! We were both thrilled when his shirts from Walmart came in the mail and were perfect. He’s already asked me to order him a few more! Case is a picky shopper, for real. He has a certain edgy look that he likes, even with his tees, so I wasn’t sure if he would be able to find the style he really feels good in, but Walmart nailed it with the longer tees and the short sleeve hoodies that have some added length! From the edgy street style to the cleaner more prep look, Walmart continues to provide top quality items for men.

After the rest of the family had their picks in the cart, it was my turn. I knew I wanted a longer duster cardigan in a neutral color because as the seasons change I get cold fast. Texas may not get cold for awhile but the stores are freezing. There is nothing more uncomfortable than when I am cold and trying to work with a client in a shopping appointment! I found my perfect look online at Walmart, because I was able to click and have other brands at my finger tips! My fav purchase for myself was the blush Donna Karan duster cardigan for sure! A close second are the python booties that I have already busted out and worn because I was too excited to wait! I can see myself wearing these all fall! The black slip dress made an easy chic look back with booties too that I threw on last night for a fun family date night with some friends!

Once again a huge thank you to Walmart for making it fun and easy to find new current items for our closets that will make transitioning into the fall season that much more fun!
