Travel Essentials with Saks

Okay, who loves packing for trips?! Chances are, it’s probably not your favorite thing to do! Packing for a whole month in Italy required a big checklist for the family. However, when it came to figuring out what I was going to wear, I knew if I packed my favorite essentials from Saks, my wardrobe for the month would easily fall into place!

Let’s talk blazers… My number one must have for travel. No matter where I’m going, I almost always bring this Veronica Beard scuba jacket with me! It doesn’t wrinkle, it can be thrown on with jeans/leggings/or dresses, and it’s the most comfortable blazer I own. Another seasonal favorite is this linen blazer. It’s been the perfect lightweight option for when we took a train to Switzerland and gone to dinner in the evenings.

Two pant options that I knew I couldn’t leave home without are these zip back scuba pants and my white kick flare jeans. Both are stretchy and keeping me comfy on our long walking days.

I always love to travel with a few fun maxi dresses since they are light and easy. I was excited when I found this one under $150! I wore it to dinner one night in the city but would be perfect for a beach vacation too!

And to finish off each outfit- shoes and accessories of course! Sneakers have definitely been a necessity this trip due to all the walking. These have been great to throw on with dresses and pants, as I like to still feel fresh and current while still being comfortable. I made sure I threw in my favorite slide sandal too! Finally, I’m always down for a fun headband and pair of sunglasses.

Getting dressed for this vacation has been so fun and stress free, since it’s been easy to mix and match a few of my favorite essential items from Saks. These are all core pieces in my wardrobe on the daily at home as well!

Italy has been everything we’ve ever dreamed of and more. Squeezing in as much gelato, pasta, and scenery walks as we can during these last few days!
