Fall Transition with Saks

My favorite season is right around the corner! As we approach the month of September, it’s time to start transitioning our wardrobes from summer to fall. Saks has been the best one-stop-shop for getting those must-have seasonal pieces from head to toe. I’m excited about the trends we are seeing for 2022, chunky boots and fun prints being a couple of my favorites!

This Texas heat can make it hard to think about dressing for fall, which is why one of the best ways to start bringing in those seasonal colors while staying cool is through dresses. Bold, colorful prints have made their debut on the runway and in stores. I love these two Alice + Olivia floral print dresses- pairing them back with these jeweled combat boots because I always get more use out of my dresses when they can be worn casually!

We all know a basic knit pullover sweater is a staple for the cooler seasons, but why not spice it up a bit this year with a little more detail? This asymmetric sweater gives you something different and fresh to throw on with jeans and boots, or even joggers and sneakers. These neutral leather boots are perfect for wearing with chunky sweaters and are comfy too!

Last but not least, two fall accessory trends that can bring your whole look together are small/mini handbags and baseball caps. Both of these bags imitate high end designer bag styles but are under $400! Also, you will start to see that ball caps don’t only have to be worn for athleisure… this is good news for dirty hair days!
