Sweaters for me and her

I am that girl that is cold when it gets below 80 degrees! Either that or I’ve lived in Texas all my life and if we don’t pull out or sweaters in the 70’s we will never get to wear them! I want a sweater to be soft and cozy and never ever itchy. Tanner feels the same way, she shares my love for warmer layers and all things that feel like a blanket. Transitional dressing can seem tricky because the weather hasn't fully agree to let us wear all of our warm things we are dying to. I mean I can hardly look online with wanting to purchase every bootie and sweater I come across! This blush dreamy layer isn’t heavy or wool based making it much easier to cheat with!

Blush has made a strong impact on the fall colors this season and of course I am thrilled! Who knew a soft pink could be such a neutral color?! Not only can you wear this color all fall, you can also wear it in the spring too! Yay for being so smart and using your cash to the max! This chunky and boxy style sweater looks easy and great back with denim, and you can add a little front tuck if needed to show the waist. Don’t over think the front tuck look! Simply take a tiny front or side section and tuck it in, raise your arms a bit to ensure you haven’t over done it and you are good to go!

All girls look great in ruffles! Tanner is apparently a big fan of strutting her stuff and looking sassy in her ruffled sweatshirt! I love love that casual dress has made a huge comeback and looks just feminine enough to be spot on! I mean, I am so ok with wearing casual things and claiming that I am “trend appropriate”!

Now, the shoes situation is one of my favs! I snagged these booties for fashion week and they have been the best! The block heel is comfortable and the velvet texture is just amazing. This shoe is perfect for anyone who wants to add a dash of velvet to the wardrobe but doesn't want to feel like they are over doing it! And, Oh my daughter had to have these fur slides. She worked extra hard to earn money for them and must say that she chose well. I mean if you can’t wear pink faux fur in Jr. high then when can ya? I love her spirit when it comes to getting dressed. She knows what she likes and she owns it! That my friends is more than half of the trick. It is the confidence that makes outfits so fun. I find that being comfortable is also what makes me feel the best in my clothes…literally!

Keep shopping and dressing simple! Make it comfortable and you will never regret it!
