Cozy, Chic Knits with Saks

Over the Thanksgiving break I traveled to New York and London! Both chilly places, so different outerwear trends were everywhere! Needless to say, coats are no longer an afterthought. This season, they are truly stealing the limelight. A long coat in a neutral color instantly elevates any look.

From jeans and a tee to a more formal ensemble, long coats just give off a chic vibe. Rag & Bone’s Thea wool blend coat is a piece I’ll wear on repeat. I know I have said it before, but chocolate brown has become one of the most coveted neutrals. Brown is the new black! I paired the coat with these adorable plaid boot-cut pants by Veronica Beard and a sleeveless sweater! I love these pants because they look great paired with just about anything. Tee shirts, blouses, sweaters, and of course, blazers. A sleeveless sweater works beautifully in Texas with our rollercoaster weather.

One trend I’m really loving is the long denim skirts with tall boots, so I had to highlight the Frame Angled Seam Denim Skirt! Shades of white in the winter? Absolutely! I paired it with a cotton blend knit vest to create a monochromatic look. The vest is a versatile piece that can be layered over a fitted long sleeve top or paired with leather pants to give it more of a “night out” vibe.  I think a pair of tall boots should be a part of everyone’s wardrobe, and I’m loving these leather high heel boots by Veronica Beard. The pull-on style makes them easy to put on- and even though they feature a stiletto heel, they’re surprisingly comfortable! Outfit them with dresses or skirts and you’re guaranteed to look fabulous!

Thanks to Saks for these stylish separates. They will definitely be a part of my winter outfit rotation. Happy Holidays, everyone! Excited to see what trends 2024 has in store!
