Chic and fabulous date night outfits from Saks

Date nights during the winter months can be a little tricky! Putting together an outfit that won't leave you feeling cold or uncomfortable but still leaves you feeling like the best version of yourself is sometimes a challenge! I’m here to help with a few outfit ideas that will leave you feeling cute, comfortable, and stylish.

A “date” doesn’t always mean an outing with a love interest- it can also be a day with girlfriends! You can never go wrong with a fresh, bright white poplin top, jeans, and great accessories to add excitement. The Khai poplin top is a staple piece everyone needs to own! It can be worn year-round with a wide selection of bottoms, shoes, and layers. For this look I chose some fabulous Vince mules and I’m also loving this neutral belt from Versace with the pop of gold hardware!

If you’re going to a fun brunch or a dressier lunch spot, a skirt and top is always the safe way to go! I chose the Limani floral skirt by Veronica Beard- yes, you can wear floral in the winter months! Just go with a piece that has a darker color palette. Since we are still dressing for the winter months, I paired the skirt with a darker brown top and suede booties. In the spring and summer, you can wear an ivory blouse to brighten up the look!

When you don't want to spend hours trying to pick out an outfit, a dress can be your saving grace! If you have a milder winter like we tend to in Texas, this Veronica Beard dress is perfect! This elevated denim mini dress has a defined waistline which gives it a slimming silhouette. You can pair this piece with a longer camel coat to bring out the contrast stitching, or an ivory denim jacket for a lighter look. Tall boots or booties are best for the winter months or try a cute sandal for the summertime!

Whether you’re heading out on the town for a girl’s day, a first date, or an adventure with your longtime lovey, I hope you were motivated by these outfit ideas! I always trust Saks to have something fun for every occasion.
