Packing light to go to Europe for a month? It sounds challenging, right?

My secret is...drumroll please...finding versatile items! Dresses you can layer with a light jacket, t-shirts you can dress up or dress down, or a set you can pair with a different top or bottom is always a win!

Thankfully crochet pieces are here to stay. They are an essential part of my summertime wardrobe! I chose to bring the Frame crochet maxi skirt to pair with a basic tank, a tucked in button down top, or to be worn with the adorable matching crop top! Believe it or not, you can also use the skirt as a swimsuit cover up. The combinations are endless! The matching crop top can be worn with high waist linen pants, jeans, or shorts…again, very versatile! Who doesn’t adore a good set?

I couldn’t leave the green Veronica Beard mini dress behind! I wanted to add a fun pop of color in my suitcase and green is a popular color this year! This dress has a beautiful silhouette, it’s super flirty, and can be dressed up with a simple strappy heel. Keep four or five summer dresses in your rotation and wear them everywhere!

If you’ve traveled to Europe, you know the cobblestone roads call for a chunky heel! The Vince. Dara sandal, has a fun sculptured heel and because of the leather straps, they’re incredibly comfortable! Neutral sandals are a key to any summer capsule wardrobe and they were the perfect shoe to pack for our getaway!

For the sunnier days, cute sun protection is always a must. The Rag & Bone City Straw Fedora was the cherry on top for several of my looks and to top it off, it was easy to fold and pack in my bag!

June has been a month packed with precious memories with my family and i’m so thrilled we had the opportunity to get away for a month. Saks is a one stop shop and I can always rely on them to provide the trendy, up to date pieces for me and several of my clients!
